Hotel Damage Policy
Introduction
Welcome to the Heart of Hull Hotel. We are committed to providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all our guests. To maintain the quality and safety of our facilities, we have established the following damage policy. By booking a stay with us, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.
Guest Responsibilities
1. *Care of Property*: Guests are expected to treat the hotel property, including rooms, furnishings, and common areas, with care and respect.
2. *Reporting Damages*: Any damage or maintenance issues should be reported immediately.
Damage Assessment
1. *Inspection*: Rooms are inspected before and after each stay. Any damages or missing items will be noted.
2. *Assessment of Damages*: If damages are found, the cost of repair or replacement will be assessed based on the extent of the damage and the current market rates.
Charges for Damages
1. *Notification*: Guests will be notified of any damages and associated charges within 48 hours after check-out.
2. *Payment*: The cost of damages will be charged to the guest's credit card on file.
Common Examples of Chargeable Damages
- Stained or damaged linens and towels
- Broken furniture or fixtures
- Damage to walls, floors, or ceilings
- Missing items from the room
Exceptions
- Normal wear and tear will not be considered as damage.
- Accidental damages may be covered by travel insurance; guests are encouraged to check their policy.
Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with any charges, please contact our management team within 5 days of receiving the invoice. We are committed to resolving any issues in a fair and timely manner.
Hotel Policy
Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-In Time*: After 3 PM
- Check-Out Time*: No later than 11 AM
- *Respect Quiet Hours*: Quiet hours are enforced after 11 PM. Any complaints regarding noise may result in expulsion from the premises.
Visitor Policy
- *No Visitors Allowed*: During your stay, no visitors are permitted on the property. Violation of this policy may result in expulsion.
Smoking and Substance Use
- *Prohibited Activities*: Smoking or drug use, is strictly prohibited anywhere within the building. Violations of this policy may lead to immediate expulsion.
Hot Tub and Sauna: Guests can reserve the hot tub from 17:00 to 00:00. The booking fee is £20 for the first hour for up to two people. For each additional hour, a fee of £10 will apply. Please note that there is an additional charge of £10 for each extra guest beyond the initial two. We recommend booking in advance to secure your desired time slot. Payment must be made in advance via a payment link.
